- Always Driving is an Agency that introduces pupils to Driving Instructors. Driving Instructors are self employed and all contracts for the provision of driving tuition are between the pupil and the instructor.
- As the lesson cost is the Driving Instructors income we ask that you give your instructor two clear working days notice of cancellation of any lesson. Lessons cancelled with less notice will be charged for whether the reason for cancellation was predictable or not. Although we recognise that some reasons for late cancellation are genuine and unavoidable it is unfair that your instructor is made to lose his income.
- Although your Driving Instructor will make every effort to arrive at the lesson start time the very nature of his work means that events arising from traffic, weather and other situations which are outside of his control may mean that he has to occasionally rearrange or cancel lessons at short notice.
- Very rarely and in the interest of Road Safety, the Instructor may withhold the use of the car for the driving test if, in the opinion of the instructor, a pupil is not able to control the car safely.
- The Instructor is not responsible for the cancellation of hours booked, due to the postponement of a driving test by the Department of Transport.
- A two or three hour booking is necessary for the driving test, dependent on the actual test time, and a test fee is payable for the use of the car. This time is to allow for the pre-test practice, the test itself and returning from the test centre afterwards.
- For your protection, advance payments can be made by cash or credit card Always Driving and we will hold that money on your account crediting it to your instructor as lessons are taken.
- Always Driving is committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining the security of any personal data received from you. We strictly adhere to the requirements of the data protection legislation in the UK. The purpose of this statement is to explain to you what personal data we collect and how we may use it.
- When you contact us to make an enquiry, we will ask you for your name, address, postcode, phone number(s) and email address.
- Our legitimate interest in holding this data is to perform our duty to you under contract to introduce you to and reserve Driving Lessons with and in our Driving Instructor diaries. We also further use this data to maintain a record of your lessons with us.
- We may use your data to send email/text to confirm or make changes to bookings etc or to inform you of any offers we feel relevant to you
- We will hold this information for as long as we deem that our services and/or products are relevant to you or you expressly notify us that you wish us to destroy that data
- We will only ever share personal data that we collect from you with the following parties and only for the purpose(s) described:
- Worldpay (payment card processing)
- SMS Gateway – to send booking notification SMS text messaging to your Instructor and/or to you
- Our Email gateway – to send emails to you
- We may share your personal data internally between always driving group companies in order to provide special offers and relevant products and services.
- We follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of personal data which you have given us, to prevent unauthorised access in accordance with the UK data protection legislation. We do not collect sensitive data about you except when you specifically and knowingly provide it to us (for example how many Driving lessons you have had before signup/ date of driving test / driving experience etc) .

- We use a technology called “cookies” as part of a normal business procedure to track patterns of behaviour of visitors to our web site.
